Earlier this week, the unannounced Nokia Lumia 929 smartphone emerged online in a series of leaked photos allegedly originating from Mexico, and some more images with the device are now available for your viewing pleasure.

The smartphone is expected to make an official appearance sometime in mid- to late-December, and it should become available for purchase in the United States on the network of Verizon Wireless.

As can be seen in said leaked photos, the handset indeed sports the Verizon logo on the front, though it’s yet uncertain whether we’re looking at a prototype device or at final hardware.

The smartphone should be launched as a Verizon exclusive, which will make it interesting to see how well it will fare when compared to the extensive Android lineup of the carrier, as PhoneArena notes.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Nokia Lumia 929 is expected to arrive on shelves with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with hardware internals that would make it as powerful as the top-selling Android flagships today.

The handset is reportedly powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and sports 32GB of internal memory (which seems confirmed by the last photo below).

Moreover, the high-end smartphone is expected to arrive on shelves with a 20-megapixel PureView camera on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, as well as with a front camera to allow users to video chat while on the go.

When launched, Nokia Lumia 929 should also include support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, while expected to run under the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 platform release, the same as Lumia 1520 before it.

Unfortunately, we’re still waiting for an official confirmation on the smartphone’s existence and release date, so keep an eye on this space to learn more on the matter.
