The smartphone may still be on track for a December 6 release

According to the latest hearsay, Nokia Lumia 929 should arrive at Verizon on December 6. Several online retailers tagged this date for the release of some accessories for the said smartphone, which is why we thought the Lumia 929 might be launched around the same date.

However, NokiaPowerUser now reports that at least two retailers that previously confirmed accessories for Lumia 929 will arrive on December 6 shifted the released date for these accessories to December 20.

Even though a few other continue to list the release date for these accessories for December 6, they might be informed about the change with just a few days before the December 6.

For the time being, it's unclear when exact Nokia Lumia 929 will be launched by Verizon, but everything points to a December release.

The smartphone was initially rumored to arrive at Verizon on November 21, but Nokia probably thought it would be unwise to release the Windows Phone handset around the same time as Nokia Lumia 1520.

Nokia Lumia 929 is said to cost only $500 (€370) off contract, though the information has yet to be confirmed. Aside from the phone's rumored price tag and the fact that it comes with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display no other specs have been leaked.

The good news is the press render that surface almost two months ago shows Nokia Lumia 929 also boasts a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera that features PureView technology and LED flash.

We suspect much of the smartphone specs will be similar with those of the Lumia 1520, but that remains to be seen for when the Lumia 929 will be officially introduced by Verizon.

Stay tuned for more details on the upcoming release of Nokia Lumia 929 at Verizon Wireless, as soon as news on the smartphone leaks online.
