Good news for Windows Phone enthusiasts in the US, as Nokia is about to announce one of the latest smartphones, the Lumia 928.

Obviously, given the fact that we don’t have any official confirmation yet, we recommend our readers to take this information with a grain of salt.

According to Nokia-Lumia-928, Nokia Lumia 928 smartphone will be officially introduced at Verizon Wireless on April 25.

The source of this rumor claims it has received this information from the same person that tipped them on the fact the Lumia 928 will be available in 4 color options (White, Black, Red and Cyan).

If Verizon and Nokia decided to go official with Lumia 928 on April 25, then the smartphone would go on sale in one or two weeks.

That puts Nokia Lumia 928 release date on May 2 or 9. No word on the pricing options yet, but we will probably receive more info closer to launch.

The reasoning behind an April 25 Lumia 928 launch may seem logical at first glance, but there’s no telling what it will happen in the next couple of days.

Apparently, one of the reasons Samsung Galaxy S 4 won’t arrive at Verizon Wireless until May 30 is the fact that the Big Red preferred to go with Nokia and launch the Lumia 928 on April 25.

It would have not been possible to launch two high-end smartphones so close to each other, so Nokia Lumia 928 is the first to go on sale at Verizon.

Design-wise, Nokia Lumia 928 is rumored to feature a new design, slightly different than the previous Lumia lineup. It will be slimmer and will feature an aluminum body.

The smartphone is said to pack a 4.5-inch AMOLED display manufactured by Samsung. The phone’s camera will also be provided with a Xenon flash, instead of the regular LED flash.

We will keep an eye out for any new information regarding the Nokia Lumia 928, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.

Thanks, Jasper
