Users in the Philippines looking for the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone will be able to grab one starting with August 16, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Nokia themselves have already confirmed plans to bring the Windows Phone 8 device to the country with a price tag of 23,500 PHP (about $540 / €410) attached to it, and have unveiled that only the 16GB flavor of the smartphone would be released.

Packing a 4.5-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display and a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor inside, Lumia 925 comes with the same hardware internals and capabilities as the Nokia Lumia 920.

However, it is thinner and lighter, and also sports a metallic stripe wrapped around its body. Furthermore, Lumia 925 comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper that packs an extra sixth lens for increased performance.
