Lumia 920, the flagship Windows Phone 8 handset from Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia, won’t be launched in China only on the network of wireless carrier China Mobile, it seems.

The smartphone has just been approved for use in the country with WCDMA connectivity packed inside, ITHome notes, and is expected to hit shelves at other carriers in the country as well, most probably China Telecom.

The mobile phone was already announced for launch in the country on China Mobile’s network as Nokia Lumia 920T, and is expected to become officially available as soon as next month, most probably on December 5.

The Nokia Lumia 920 WCDMA flavor was approved with support for HSDPA / HSUPA) / GSM (GPRS) standards, as well as with wireless LAN capabilities. This handset model is said to arrive in the country at a later date.
