There’s no doubt that the new Lumia smartphones powered by Windows Phone 8 platform are the hottest devices that are about to arrive on the market.

The Lumia 920 in particular seems to be Nokia’s new masterpiece. The handset comes with PureView imaging technology and display that integrated something completely new, called PureMotion HD+.

According to Nokia, Lumia 920’s display is the fastest and most sensitive on the market due to this new technology. The company is also praising the screen’s enhanced sunlight usability, which is detailed here.

All in all, it looks like many Android and iOS fans are willing to switch to Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone 8 platform and that’s mostly because of Nokia’s new Lumia handsets.

Although Lumia 820 is a bit less-featured than Lumia 920, it still offers a fair share of innovative features, which are meant to convince people using other platforms to take Windows Phone 8 into consideration.

With less than two weeks left until the official launch of Windows Phone 8, we’re still not certain when and where the new Lumia smartphones might go on sale.

Several retailers across Europe already announced estimate release dates for both Lumia 920 and 820 phones, but there’s no telling how accurate the information is.

France is among the first countries to get the Lumia smartphones and the fact is highlighted by PhoneHouse retailer, part of Carphone Warehouse, which is now taking pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 920.

Moreover, it appears that Nokia Lumia 920 has just gotten the top spot in its phone sales chart, which includes 50 more or less advanced handsets. The device seems to be a new entry among the 50 phones listed at PhoneHouse.

Those who wish to purchase the black version of Nokia Lumia 920 from PhoneHouse will have to come up with no less than 650 EUR (850 USD). Check it out here.

Its the need to embrace evolutionary products. Which in turn, ups competition, and eventually offer consumers a better bang for the buck. Example would around the turn of the century in the computer field Intel charged a premium for processors until AMD came out with a better architecture, this caused a MHz-GHz war, Intel fell behind. it took some time but eventually a pricing war took place helping computers to become extremely affordable. Unlike processors, handsets have a lot more upgrades to achieve a premium price tag. it doesn't matter if someones a fanboi of another handset or not as consumers we have to welcome innovation to push the next corporation to up the ante.
