Good news for Nokia Lumia 920 who updated their smartphones to the latest version of Windows Phone and now lack the option to use Google as default search provider.

WMPoweruser reports Microsoft and Nokia are about to release a new firmware update for Lumia 920, which will restore the option to use Google instead Bing as default search provider.

Firmware version 3047.0000.1326.2009 has been recently spotted on Navifirm, Nokia's repository database, and is likely to go live within the next few days.

It's unclear if the update will also bring other changes as well, but the restoration of Google as search provider is very important by itself so we strongly recommend Nokia Lumia 920 owners to download and install it as soon as it becomes available. Stay tuned for more on this.
