Starting today, mobile phone users in the UK interested in getting a taste of EE’s 4G LTE service can choose to do so on Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8 device, the Lumia 920.

The handset has been announced back in September, and EE unveiled a few weeks later that it would carry it in the country, exclusively.

Starting today, the phone is available for purchase at the wireless services provider, and can be seen on the company’s website on this page.

Those who would like to grab it on monthly contracts will have to pay £129.99 ($210 / 162 Euro) for it, should they choose the cheapest £36.00 per month plan, or only £19.99 on EE’s £46.00, £51.00 and £56.00 per month plans.

Depending on the contract, users will enjoy 500MB of monthly data, or can go to as much as 8GB of data on the most expensive offer.

At the same time, they will be able to take advantage of the features and capabilities that Lumia 920 comes to the market with, starting with the great viewing experience on its 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ touchscreen display.

The handset was launched with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 7GB of SkyDrive storage, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a front camera for making video calls.

“Relive the best moments of your life, without a blur in sight. With PureView camera technology and Optical Image Stabilisation, you'll get crystal clear photos and videos, even in low light,” EE explains.

“We live in mobile times. With this boldly innovative smartphone and its amazing SkyDrive, you won't need to stop moving. Access your apps, files and tracks, on the go.”

Lumia 920 also arrives on shelves with wireless charging capabilities, and the mobile operator has announced that a free charger worth £39.99 ($64 / 50 Euro) will be included in the package until the end of December, as long as supplies last.
