Canadian mobile phone carrier Rogers is currently gearing up for the release of its first Windows Phone-based handset from Nokia, the Lumia 710.

The handset hasn’t arrived on shelves yet, but it appears that the wireless carrier is already considering the launch of Nokia’s new Lumia 900 smartphone.

The handset was made official earlier this month at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and should hit shelves in the United States on the airwaves of AT&T soon.

Rumor has it that Rogers is also considering launching the device on its network, with LTE capabilities in tow. Apparently, May is the targeted release timeframe, yet no confirmation on the matter has emerged so far.

The possible price tag for Lumia 900 is unknown as well, but it could prove cheap, based on the suggested cost for Lumia 710.
