Let the Nokia Lumia 900 hype begin. We’ve got lots of rumors that point Lumia 900’s launch date on April 8/9 via AT&T. On top of that the carrier has just launched the smartphone’s “Coming Soon” page.

The page has just gone live, but AT&T does not reveal any vital information for its customers, such as pricing options or availability.

On the positive side, we know that when a device shows up as “Coming Soon” at AT&T, its launch is just around the corner. If rumors are accurate we should see the Lumia 900 launching online on April 8.

AT&T retail stores are expected to start offering the Mango-based handset beginning April 9. It will be interesting to see if Nokia and AT&T decided to go for a more aggressively approach and price the Lumia 900 for under $100 with a new two-year agreement.

If not, Nokia Lumia 900 should be priced around $200 on a two-year term and probably around $600 or $650 outright. However, these are only speculations as more details will probably emerge closer to launch.

In order to receive update info on the Lumia 900 directly from the carrier, customers will need to submit their email addresses to AT&T Marketing emails service.

The Lumia 900 is Nokia’s top tier smartphone powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform. The handset comes with a large 4.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, which, sadly, only supports 800 x 480 pixels resolution.

However, the main selling point of the Lumia 900 is the LTE support and impressive 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual-LED flash and HD (720p) video recording.

Design-wise, Nokia Lumia 900 is made of “finely crafted one-piece polycarbonate body with rounded edges and tapered ends slips easily into pocket or purse.”

Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
