Nokia has identified the presence of an issue in its Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone, affecting its screen usage.

The flaw manifests through making grey graphics appear purple at times when the screen's brightness is set to the minimum level.

The problem was found to affect only a small number of devices, but still a significant one to catch Nokia’s attention (WPCentral claims that up to 10 percent Lumia 900 devices suffer from it).

On its Twitter account, Nokia Care US announced that they are aware of the issue, and that they would provide a software update to rectify it in the near future.

To verify whether their devices are defective, users would simply have to head to the settings menu, set the brightness to a minimum, and see whether a purple hue appears throughout the interface.
