With just one day left until Microsoft’s IFA 2014, new pictures of the unannounced Nokia Lumia 830 have just emerged online. The smartphone has been caught on camera alongside the Lumia 930, and thanks to these pictures, we are now certain the handset will pack a PureView camera and Xenon flash.

In fact, two sets of photos from two different sources leaked online recently. As mentioned earlier, one of the sets shows the Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 being compared, whereas the second row of pictures focuses on the former’s camera and inside specs.

Thanks to the latter, we now know that Nokia Lumia 830 will be equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, but we have yet to learn the clock value of the phone’s CPU. We believe Microsoft included a 1.2GHz quad-core processor into the phone, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet.

We reported yesterday about Nokia Lumia 830’s 10MP PureView camera and today’s pictures provide a closer look at the smartphone’s rear-facing photo snapper.

According to previous rumors, the smartphone should sport an HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display, but no details on the size of the screen are available yet.

However, judging by the fact that Lumia 930 and Lumia 830 are almost similar when it comes to size, we assume the latter comes with a 5-inch display. As shown in the comparative pictures, the Lumia 830 seems to be slightly bigger than the Lumia 930, but only by a small margin.

The smartphone also comes with removable battery, as well as 1GB of RAM and front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. Lumia 830 also packs microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack.

We expect Nokia Lumia 830 to ship with the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box. Design-wise, it appears that Microsoft kept the same rectangular form factor that makes the Lumia 930 and Lumia ICON so appealing.

Both frames of the smartphone are metallic and there are three external buttons on the right side: volume rocker, power on/off button and dedicated camera key.

Nokia Lumia 830 is likely to be officially introduced by Microsoft during its IFA 2014 press conference, which is scheduled for September 4.

Along with this camera-centric phone aimed at the mid-range market, Microsoft is also expected to debut the Nokia Lumia 730, also known as the “selfie” phone. Other smartphones may be announced as well, but they will probably not be powered by Windows Phone operating system.
