Mobile phone users in Singapore appear fond of Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8 platform, as well as of devices running under the operating system.

In fact, wireless carrier Singtel is currently listing the Nokia Lumia 820 and the Windows Phone 8S by HTC smartphones as being among the top selling devices on its network.

Although placed only on the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, the two still made it to the top five best sellers at the carrier, which is worth noting altogether.

What’s interesting to note is the fact that these are mid- and entry-level Windows Phone 8 devices, and that people are flocking to purchase them.

As WMPoweruser notes, the carrier also has Nokia’s flagship Lumia 920 handset in its offering, but it is listed as out of stock for the time being.
