Nokia Lumia 730 is the next mid-range Windows Phone handset to be released by Microsoft this year. The rightful successor of the Lumia 720 was recently spotted at several retailers around the world, which suggests Microsoft may unveil the smartphone pretty soon.

The newest retailer to offer info on the still-unannounced Nokia Lumia 730 comes via Zing.vn, a Vietnamese blog that claims the smartphone will go on sale at the end of August for around 5,000,000 VND outright, which is about $240 or €180.

Among the information provided by the Vietnamese retailer is the fact that the Lumia 730 features a uni-body polycarbonate design, which means it will pack a non-removable battery.

Some other specs are mentioned as well, but they have already been confirmed over the weekend via Chinese web service Baidu. According to the previous report, the Lumia 730 should go on sale in China for around $345 (€260) off contract, which means prices may vary slightly depending on country and carrier.

However, considering that the Lumia 730 is likely to be the first smartphone to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 operating system out of the box, Microsoft fans may want to take this device into consideration when upgrading from other mid-range smartphones.

Another selling point of the Nokia Lumia 730 might be the fact that it comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, which is why it was called the “selfie” phone in the first place.

Aside from that, the smartphone comes with mid-range specs, such as a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone will also pack 8GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB). The 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution is another strong feature of the Lumia 730.

On the back, the handset is said to feature a 6.7-megapixel photo snapper with Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Last but not least, Nokia Lumia 730 will also offer dual-SIM capability and it will be powered by a high-capacity 2000 mAh battery that has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

It’s also worth mentioning that the mid-range Windows Phone handset won’t come with any hardware navigation key or a dedicated camera button, so users will only be able to handle the phone with the help of the on-screen keys.
