Nokia launched the Lumia 710 in Canada several weeks ago via Rogers, but the Finnish company mentioned that the smartphone would be available from multiple carriers.

It appears that WIND Mobile will be the next Canadian operator to carry the Nokia Lumia 710. The smartphone has just popped up on WIND Mobile’s “Hottest Phones” page with a “Coming Soon” tag attached to it.

Rumors on the upcoming release of the Lumia 710 at WIND Mobile emerged about three weeks ago.

The phone appeared on an internal document along with two other handsets that have yet to be launched on the market, Samsung Gravity Touch 2 and Huawei Astro.

Although there is no info regarding the smartphone release date or pricing options, Lumia 710 is expected to hit shelves within the next few days for under $50 CAD on WINDtab.

However, it will be interesting to see WIND Mobile’s no-term price of the Lumia 710, as Rogers is still selling the smartphone for no less than $229.99 CAD outright.

Obviously, the smartphone will be shipped with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango on board, though everyone expects this one to get the Windows Phone Tango update which is said to add support for 256 MB devices, MMS enhancements and overall performance improvements.

Other than that, the Lumia 710 has the same features as the Lumia 800 with a single exception, the rear camera. While the former sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper, the latter comes with a much better 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens.

The Lumia 710 has a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels), which is based on Nokia’s ClearBlack technology and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.4 GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 205 GPU, 8GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
