Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of Nokia Lumia 635 on the network of wireless carrier AT&T should know that the handset is now up for grabs at the operator.

Made official back in April, the smartphone was officially confirmed for AT&T a few weeks ago, and the carrier has started selling it earlier today.

Nokia Lumia 635 is the cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone out there to also include 4G LTE connectivity, and is available at AT&T as part of the carrier’s GoPhone pre-paid lineup.

If you are looking to grab it, you will have to get $99.99 (€74) out of your pockets for it. The good news, however, is that you won’t need to sign a contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

Nokia Lumia 635 can be seen on AT&T’s website today. Moreover, users can head over to Amazon to purchase the device.

Although it is the cheapest LTE-enabled Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone out there, the Lumia 635 can still provide users with appealing specs and capabilities, starting with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display that delivers a 480 x 854 pixels resolution (protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3).

The mobile phone was launched with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor inside, as well as with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. Moreover, it also features a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, Nokia Lumia 635 sports a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording, but no front camera was added to it. The handset is powered by a 1830mAh battery that can deliver up to 11.3 hours of talk time, or up to 19.7 days of standby time.

“The Nokia Lumia 635 has almost everything you've been looking for in a smartphone packed into a beautifully designed silhouette. With its powerful quad-core processor and Windows operating system, the Lumia 635 keeps up with your day-to-day activities,” AT&T notes.

In addition to the aforementioned 4G LTE connectivity, Lumia 635 also offers support for 3G networks, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi Direct capabilities. The device was also released with a built-in GPS receiver for making video calls while on the go.

Moreover, it will deliver all of the features and capabilities that the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system has been released with, which include enhanced personalization capabilities and improved performance.

Some of the features in the new OS flavor include Action Center, Word Flow, Internet Explorer 11, Start Screen backgrounds, and Cortana, the virtual personal assistant that can deliver a great experience to all users.
