Nokia Lumia 630, the entry-level Windows Phone 8.1 handset that Nokia made public in early April, is expected to make an official appearance on shelves in Norway on May 15.

According to itavisen.no, Nokia has already sent out a press release to inform on the upcoming availability of the device and has also unveiled that the device will be priced at 1295 Krone ($216/€157).

As WPCentral notes, this is about the same price tag that the device is expected to feature in other markets around Europe. Provided that the May 15 release date pans out, the handset could land on shelves in other countries as well on that day.

The mobile phone sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) touchscreen display, as well as a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor.

Moreover, the mobile phone features 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. On the back, it packs a 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording capabilities.

Lumia 630 is one of the first devices to land on shelves with the Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan platform loaded on top. However, Nokia has already confirmed that the software will be released to existing phones soon after.
