With less than a week left until BUILD 2014 developer conference is set to kick off, new information on the alleged devices that are expected to be unveiled on April 2 has just popped up online.

Every Windows Phone fan should probably know by now that Nokia and Microsoft plan to launch a new lineup of Lumia smartphones, along with the new Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

A few days ago, Nokia teased new announcements at BUILD 2014, but did not make any additional comments on what devices it would unveil.

However, according to the latest hearsay, Lumia 630 and 930 will be among the first smartphones to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 onboard.

These might be the only new devices announced by Nokia next week, though rumor has it that another high-end smartphone has been delayed for a few months.

There’s a high chance that Nokia may launch additional color versions for Lumia 1520, which will be released with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.

There has been talk about green and cyan versions of Nokia Lumia 1520 with a newer iteration of Windows Phone, but it has yet to be confirmed.

Anyway, one of the devices that will certainly be announced on April 2 is the Nokia Lumia 630. This is a budget-friendly smartphone that will be powered by Windows Phone 8.1.

We reported yesterday that the Lumia 630 passed certification in Thailand and Indonesia, but now it looks like the smartphone appeared in China.

Chinese blog site Winp reports that Nokia Lumia 630 will be launched in the Mainland sometime in mid-April for only 1,000 yuan outright, which is about $150 or €110.

Along with info about the smartphone’s availability and price tag, the cited source has also managed to nail some of the Lumia 630’s specs. Some of these were rumored long ago, but it’s nice that they have been confirmed once again.

Apparently, Nokia Lumia 630 will be the first dual-SIM Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone. The device will support GSM / WCDMA networks and it will feature dual standby.

Nokia Lumia 630 is said to come with virtual navigation buttons and a large 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution.

The smartphone will lack physical camera key and LED flash. On the positive side, it will pack 1GB of RAM and a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. It is also worth mentioning that the Lumia 630 will measure 129.5 x 66.7mm.
