Mobile phone users in the UK interested in the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 630 smartphone should know that they can now grab the device for only £89.95 ($150/€114) if they buy it via Carphone Warehouse.

The leading retailer is offering the mobile phone at the aforementioned price tag for all those interested in getting it on a Pay As You Go plan on Vodafone’s network. It also includes a £10 top-up.

Previously, the handset was available at £99.95 ($166/€126) on said plans, but the retailer has decided to make it a bit cheaper to increase sales volumes, it seems.

What’s more, those of you who will go for this Windows Phone device will also be able to save £25 more when bringing in an older device.

Undoubtedly, Lumia 630 is a great option for all Windows Phone fans out there looking for an affordable device that can still provide them with decent performance capabilities. It is available in the UK in three different color flavors, including Black, Green and Orange.

However, you should know that Lumia 630 is the cheapest only when purchased with a Vodafone contract, as the retailer sells it for £99.95 with O2, T-Mobile and Virgin deals. If you want to get the phone on Orange’s network, you’ll have to pay £129.95 ($216/€164) for it.

“The Nokia Lumia 630 is a great value smartphone. It’s a great entry price to get access to the Nokia Lumia features like free internet radio and maps,” Carphone Warehouse notes.

The Nokia Lumia 630 was made official in early April during the Build conference, when Microsoft first announced the new Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

The mobile phone arrives on shelves with a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display capable of delivering a 480 x 854 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.

Moreover, the smartphone features 512MB of RAM, along with 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of externals storage.

Connectivity-wise, Lumia 630 sports 3G (HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps) capabilities, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, and a built-in GPS receiver.

Moreover, it arrives on the market with a 5-megapixel camera on the back, capable of recording videos in HD resolution, but with no front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The handset is powered by an 1830mAh battery that can deliver up to 13 hours and 10 minutes of talk time, or up to 600 hours of standby time. It also provides users with all of the features and capabilities that Windows Phone 8.1 sports.
