The handset has gained the most ground during December

Nokia’s Lumia 625 smartphone, the 4.7-inch Windows Phone 8 device that was launched back in the summer of 2013, has started to gain more and more steam, and it is currently the best-selling device running under the platform.

According to the latest data coming from AdDuplex, the smartphone climbed to the sixth place on the most popular Windows Phone devices chart, as it grew 0.4 percent in December.

Lumia 520, currently the most popular Windows Phone device out there, grew only 0.2 percent in the timeframe, as WMPoweruser notes.

Moreover, Lumia 625 is said to have gained a 2.8 percent share in the UK (now the fourth WP phone there, with 6.4%), while increasing its share to 9.5 percent in France. It also enjoys 7.1 percent share in India and 5 percent in Italy.
