Nokia Lumia 625, one of the most affordable Windows Phone handsets out there, is now available for purchase in the UK at only £79.95 ($135/€100), via Carphone Warehouse.

The 4G-enabled handset has received a price cut at the retailer, yet those who will grab it will actually have to pay £89.95 ($152.6/€112.6), which includes a £10 ($17/€12.5) top-up with a mobile operator.

However, the deal still sounds appealing, due to the fact that users will also receive a £20 ($34/€25) Windows Phone Store gift card to buy applications. Moreover, they will be provided with 5 free Gameloft games, it seems.

When it comes to purchasing a cheap Windows Phone handset that can connect you to a 4G LTE network, the Nokia Lumia 625 is the phone to look after, that’s for sure.

The phone is running under Windows Phone 8 at the moment, but it should receive an update to Windows Phone 8.1 very soon, which will make it even more appealing, that’s for sure.

As for hardware specs, the smartphone sports a 4.7-inch touchscreen display, along with a dual-core processor inside, and 512MB of RAM. Moreover, it was launched with 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a 2000mAh battery inside.

“The Nokia Lumia 625 has a big, bright, super sensitive screen that makes it perfect for playing games, reading books or watching videos,” the retailer notes. You can see the smartphone on this page at Carphone Warehouse.
