Still the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handset available on the market, Nokia Lumia 620 has just become cheaper. Unveiled back in December, the smartphone made its debut in the UK one month later and was priced at £150/€175/$225 outright.

However, MyNokiaBlog reports O2 UK is now running a promotion on Nokia Lumia 620, so Windows Phone 8 fans can get the smartphone for only £130/€150/$195 on pay and go. Check it out here.

Customers who purchase the smartphone during the promotion will also receive a free interchangeable back cover. Keep in mind the current deal runs through April 3 or until sold out.

Given the success the Lumia 620 had since it was launched on the market, it shouldn’t take too long for O2 UK to deplete its stock so we recommend those who were waiting to grab the devices at a slightly better price to hurry and order it.

On the other hand, the smartphone’s price might be slashed even more once Nokia Lumia 520 goes on sale later this month.

Although Lumia 520 and Lumia 620 have almost similar specs, the former comes with a slightly larger display, superior battery and improved camera.

According to Nokia, the Lumia 520’s 5-megapixel rear camera features some PureView capabilities. On the downside, it doesn’t pack a LED flash for capturing photos in low-light environments.

In comparison, the Lumia 620 sports a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper with LED flash, autofocus and HD (720p) video recording.

It also has a 3.8-inch ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

Hardware-wise, Nokia Lumia 620 comes equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
