One of the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handsets available on the market, the Lumia 620 has been available for pre-order in India for a few days.

However, it appears that there’s a high demand for this affordable smartphone which is why some retailers decided to put a reservation fee for each pre-order.

Infibeam has just announced customers can now pre-book the Nokia Lumia 620 for Rs 2,000 ($36/€28). Check it out here.

It’s unclear if the pre-booking fee will be deducted from the final price of the smartphone or it will be kept by the retailer for reserving your Lumia 620.

We suspect Infibeam will deduct the pre-booking fee for the smartphone, but customers may want to ask the retailer before pre-ordering one.

Nokia Lumia 620 has been priced in India at Rs 15,199 ($27/€210) outright, but Infibeam has yet to confirm the final cost of the device. All in all, Infibeam offers customers the possibility to choose from three color options: white, black and yellow.

Those unfamiliar with the phone’s main feature should know Lumia 620 sports a decent 3.8-inch ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

The smartphone is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. Unlike Lumia 920, this one comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB).

On the back, Nokia Lumia 620 sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

The device allows users to stay connected to their friends and family with the WLAN and Wi-Fi connectivity enabled in it. The smartphone also comes with features like Bluetooth and USB, enabling users to transfer files to other devices.
