The budget-friendly Nokia Lumia 620 smartphone is about to make its debut on the market. The device was officially announced last month and is expected to hit shelves in January.

We reported yesterday that the smartphone had been confirmed to arrive in India in late January, and now the folks over at WMPoweruser have been tipped on the upcoming release of the Lumia 620 in Germany.

Major retailer Media Markt has already started to accept pre-orders for the Lumia 620, so customers that cannot afford a more advanced Windows Phone 8 can grab this one for only €270/$355 off-contract. Check it out here.

According to the German retailer, the handset will be available sometime in “Spring” which means it is likely to arrive in late January or early February. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
