Microsoft recently released a software update for Windows Phone 8 devices, which fixes some issues with the internal memory of the phones.

The update is currently rolling out globally and has yet to reach all countries. However, some Windows Phone 8 fans who purchased the Lumia 620 report that the smartphone ships with the latest version of the platform.

According to WMPoweruser, Nokia Lumia 620 features OS version 8.10211.204, which is the standard Portico version. However, the “other” storage management application seems to be included in the phone's software.

This means that customers who purchase the Nokia Lumia 620 may not need to wait for the GDR2 update that is supposed to bring this storage management application.

No word on exactly where the Lumia 620 ships with the latest version of Windows Phone 8, but stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
