Nokia Lumia 620, the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handset, has just arrived in the UK. The smartphone is now available SIM-free and on contract from various leading retailers across the country.

Windows Phone fans can choose to grab the Lumia 620 for free on select plans from Three, Virgin Media and O2. Next week, the smartphone will be available at Vodafone as well.

Customers who do not wish to commit to a long-term plan can purchase the Lumia 620 for £150 / €175 / $235 upfront.

Keep in mind that the device is available in yellow, orange, green, white and cyan, but some carriers only offer a smaller selection of colors.

Aside from being powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 platform, Nokia Lumia 620 does not have any features on par with other Lumia phones running the same operating system. More details on the phone’s specs are available here.
