Nokia launched the Lumia 620 in India last month and the smartphone was available for purchase until recently for Rs 15,199 ($280/ €215) outright.

However, since Nokia Lumia 520 got launched on the Indian market last week, Lumia 620’s sales most likely dropped pretty low.

That’s probably why the Finnish company has decided to slash Lumia 620’s price and make it more attractive to Windows Phone fans.

Nokia Lumia 520 is now available at various Indian retailers for Rs 10,499 off contract, which is about $195 or €150.

Given the fact that Lumia 620 and Lumia 520 are almost identical when it comes to hardware, the obvious choice would be to grab the cheaper model.

Still, Nokia Lumia 620 might have some strong points over the Lumia 520, such as the ClearBlack display and the secondary VGA camera for video calls.

As WMPoweruser points out, potential customers can now buy the Lumia 620 for just Rs 14,199 ($260/ €205) via Saholic and Flipkart.

Those looking for a real bargain might want to check these Indian retailers’ brick and mortar stores where the Lumia 620 is said to have been priced even lower.

Unlike the Lumia 520, Nokia Lumia 620 comes with LED flash for the main camera, which means that users will be able to take pictures even in low-light environments.

Other than that, there aren’t any other improvements over the Lumia 520. The smartphone comes equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 512MB of RAM.

Nokia Lumia 620 packs 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

The 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen ClearBlack display supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 246ppi, while the 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back features autofocus and HD (720p) video recording.
