Rumors on the upcoming release of Nokia Lumia 620 at TELUS emerged a few weeks ago, but no details on price and availability have surfaced until today.

According to MobileSyrup, Canadian carrier TELUS is expected to launch the Lumia 620 within the next few days. The smartphone will be available for free on 3-year terms or for 250/€185 upfront.

This will be one of the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handsets available on the market and will directly compete with HTC 8S, which has already been launched in Canada.

Nokia Lumia 620 sports a more than decent 3.8-inch ClearBlack display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording.

The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 305 GPU and 512MB of RAM. More details on Lumia 620’s specs sheet are available here.
