Lumia 620, the latest Windows Phone 8 device from Nokia to become available for purchase in the UK, has already managed to enter the list of top selling smartphones in the country.

uSwitch’s Mobile tracker currently shows the handset as placed 8th on the aforementioned list, which sounds pretty good for a brand new device.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Lumia 620 landed on shelves in the UK last week, with a 3.8-inch screen, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

The device also features 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and all the capabilities that Windows Phone 8 was packed with.

As WMPoweruser notes, other Nokia devices also emerged on said tracker, though Lumia 920 is not listed there as of now.

Would you mind telling people that it is actually dual core 1Ghz prosessor, not single core? I think that is a selling point and therefore your text is misleading as it is. Hopefully a large site like this can manage its facts.

I've added the "dual-core" mentioning, so that there would be no confusion on the matter.
