One of the smartphones rumored to arrive on the market with the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system loaded on top before the end of this year is the Nokia Lumia 530, and the device has just made an appearance at a retailer in Vietnam, it seems.

Lumia 530 was spotted on the website of online shop Mainguyen, which previously outed other smartphones just before they were made official. This suggests that it might not be too long before the phone is formally introduced.

The yet unannounced device has been rumored to land on the market as the successor of last year’s Lumia 520, while running under the newer Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, and the aforementioned listing confirms this.

In fact, the retailer has published a full set of hardware specs and capabilities for the handset, suggesting that it will arrive on shelves with a 4-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 480 x 854 pixel resolution.

Basically, the new phone will feature the same size as the predecessor, with the small bump in resolution changing the screen to 16:9 aspect ratio, as GSMArena points out.

Nokia Lumia 530 should be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, while also featuring the same 512MB of RAM inside, but only 4GB of internal memory (half of its predecessor). A microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes will also be included.

The handset was also listed with a 5-megapixel camera on the back, capable of recording videos in 720p resolution, while being powered by a 1430mAh battery.

Moreover, it seems that Lumia 530 will also feature a compass (something that last year’s handset didn’t offer), but that it will be thicker, at 11.7mm.

Just as you would expect from such a smartphone, dual-SIM capabilities will also be present inside it, along with the usual set of connectivity sensors (save for 4G LTE, of course).

Apparently, the new device will arrive on shelves in four color flavors, including Grey, White, Orange, and Green. However, it remains to be seen when exactly that will happen.

Previously, the phone was said to sport a larger, 4.3-inch touchscreen display, but it appears that this might not happen in the end. However, since no official confirmation on it has been provided as of now, we’ll take the aforementioned hardware specs with a grain of salt for the time being.

A recent report on Lumia 530 has suggested that Microsoft is set to make it official very soon, maybe before the end of this month. Stay tuned for more on this.
