We reported about a week ago that China Mobile would carry the Nokia Lumia 520T and Lumia 720T in the Mainland, though no details on pricing options and release date were available at that time.

Well, it looks like the folks over at UnwiredView have just learned that Nokia Lumia 520T will be available via China Unicom as well.

The smartphone will be available for free on select plans, as well as for a suggested retail price of 1,399 yuan, which is about $225 or €175.

So far, we’ve been unable to find out when exactly the Lumia 520T and Lumia 720T will hit shelves in China, but rumor has it that all major carriers will launch both smartphones by the end of March.

As for the Lumia 720T, the handset does not have a price tag attached to it yet, but we suspect that more details on this will emerge in the coming days.

However, those who wish to get an idea on Lumia 720T’s price should know that the smartphone has been recently confirmed to arrive in India for $310/ €245 outright, so the cost in China should be close to that.

There are a few differences between the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 and the most important seems to be the main camera.

The former packs a standard 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and HD (720p) video recording, whereas the latter boasts a much better 6.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and LED flash.

Sadly, the Lumia 520 lacks a LED flash for the main camera, so pictures in low-light environments are a no go.

The Lumia 720 also packs a superior 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by Nokia for up to 520 hours of standby time or up to 23 hours of talk time (13 hours in 3G mode).

Nokia Lumia 520 drains energy from a 1,430 mAh battery that should provide up to 360 hours of standby time or up to 15 hours of talk time (10 hours in 3G mode).
