Unveiled late last month, Nokia Lumia 520 and 720 were spotted in Germany last week where customers can now pre-order any of the two upcoming smartphones.

Today, the folks over at WMPoweruser report both Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 can be pre-purchased via UK-based retailer Unlocked-Mobiles.

Nokia Lumia 520 is up for pre-order for just £160 / €180 / $235 outright, while the Lumia 720 is a bit more expensive at £295 / €335 / $440 off contract.

Both smartphones are up for pre-order at various UK-based retailers but Unlocked-Mobiles seems to offer the best deals on the handsets, so you might want to check them out.

Nokia Lumia 520 and 720 are powered by Windows Phone 8 platform and were officially introduced at Mobile World Congress 2013, last month.

The Lumia 520 will be available in the UK in Black, White, Yellow, Red and Magenta, whereas the Lumia 720 will only be launched in Red, Black and Yellow.

It is also worth mentioning that most UK retailers taking pre-orders for Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 state both smartphones are expected to hit shelves on April 1, so this must be the official release date of the handsets.

Even though Lumia 520 and 720 have been especially designed to offer a similar Windows Phone experience, they’re bit different when it comes to design and hardware configuration.

The main difference between the two smartphones is the rear camera. Nokia Lumia 520 packs a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which feature autofocus, and HD (720p) video recording, while Lumia 720 boasts a 6.7-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

Both smartphones are powered by 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8227 processors and 512MB of RAM. They also pack 8GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (64GB). Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
