14 DAY TRIAL // Nokia Lumia 520 owners who purchased their smartphones through AT&T are probably anxious to install the Lumia Black, but the carrier has yet to approve the update.
However, an update is now available for download, but it’s not Lumia Black. WPCentral reports that lots of AT&T Lumia 520 users have started to receive a minor update that brings their smartphones’ OS version to 8.0.10328.78.
The smartphone will remain on Lumia Amber after the update, so don’t expect too many major improvements. Microsoft has already listed the changelog for the Windows Phone 8 Update 2, but this update was pushed to Lumia 520 a while ago.
There’s no telling what exactly was changed, but there’s a high chance that this is just a preliminary update before the Lumia Black arrives. Stay tuned for more info on this one.
