Nokia Lumia 520, the cheapest Windows Phone 8 smartphone out there, has seen yet another price cut in the official Microsoft Store.

Users interested in purchasing the device can now grab it for only $59 (€43) if they make the purchase via the aforementioned online portal. This is the same price tag that the device had on Black Friday, WMPoweruser notes.

The smartphone is being sold SIM-free, though it would work only on AT&T’s network in the United States. Usually, it features a price tag of $99 (€72).

Although a low-end device, the Nokia Lumia 520 still features some appealing hardware inside, starting with its 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.

Nokia Lumia 520 arrives on shelves with a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) resolution, as well as with 512MB of RAM.

Furthermore, Nokia packed the handset with 8 GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes (supports up to 64GB of external storage).

On the back, the device features a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and support for HD video recording, but with no flash.

“Powered by Windows Phone 8, the Nokia Lumia 520 comes with a powerful 1 GHz dual core processor, a responsive touchscreen, digital lenses that make taking super-sharp pictures a snap, and a host of features that make this the useful and fun smartphone you'll want,” Microsoft notes.

Nokia Lumia 520 also features HSDPA, 21.1 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, microUSB v2.0 port, and built-in GPS receiver, as well as the usual set of sensors.

The mobile phone is powered by a Li-Ion 1430 mAh battery (BL-5J) battery that can deliver up to 9 hours and 40 minutes of talk time on 3G networks, or up to 360 hours of standby time. Lumia 520 measures 2.52 x 4.72 x 0.38 in (64 x 119.9 x 9.9 mm) and weighs 4.37 oz (124 grams).
