Unveiled last month at the Mobile World Congress 2013, Nokia Lumia 520 has yet to make its debut on the market.

According to Nokia, the Lumia 520 and 720 smartphones should go on sale in the next few weeks. The phone is already up for pre-order in the UK and is set to hit shelves later this month.

Well, it appears that Lumia 520 will be launched in India as well. The smartphone is now listed at Nokia official store with the “Coming Soon” tag on it. Unfortunately, there are no details on the phone's availability and pricing options.

However, given the fact the smartphone has already been priced in the UK, we suspect it will be available in India for around the same price so we expect it to be launched for about Rs 10,000 ($185/€140).

Nokia Lumia 520 is one of the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handsets soon to be available on the market. It offers similar features as the Lumia 620, but it packs a better camera, a slightly larger display and a superior battery.

Hardware-wise, the Lumia 520 comes equipped with dual-core Qualcomm MSM8227 Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 512MB of RAM.

There are 8GB of storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card. The phone sports a 4.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and scratch-resistant glass coating.

On the back, Nokia Lumia 520 features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, HD (720p) video recording and PureView technology. The bad news is that the devices does not pack a LED flash for capturing photos in low light environments.

Last but not least, the phone is powered by a 1430 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 360 hours of standby time or up to 15 hours of talk time (10 hours in 3G mode).
