The cheapest Lumia phone, running under Windows Phone 7.8

Nokia Lumia 510, the cheapest Windows Phone handset that the Finnish mobile phone maker has unveiled to the world, is now available for purchase in Italy.

The device is currently listed as available through Amazon in the country, with a price tag of €183 ($247) attached to it, in two color flavors, Black and White, as windowsphoneitaly reports.

Running under Windows Phone 7.8 right out of the box, the handset comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen, as well as with a Snapdragon processor inside, clocked in at 800 MHz.

The smartphone also packs 256 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, built-in GPS receiver, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and 7GB of SkyDrive storage.
