Nokia's first phablet, the Lumia 1520 is doing very well on most markets it was launched. This is probably one of the reasons the Finnish handset maker wishes to bring the Lumia 1520 to mid-range market by dropping some if its more costly features.

Apart from the high price, some Windows Phone fans can't get used with such a large display, but Nokia seems to have the answer.

A smaller version of the Nokia Lumia 1520 has been recently spotted in China. WMPoweruser reports the Lumia 1520v has been caught on camera right beside the the standard 1520 model.

As shown in the picture, Nokia Lumia 1520v will come with a much smaller 4.3-inch AMOLED full HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen display, instead of the huge 6-inch screen included in the Lumia 1520.

The smartphone is also said to pack 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 14-megapixel PureView camera and wireless charging support. It won't come with microSD card slot.

According to the cited source the mini version of Nokia Lumia 1520 will go on sale sometime in April, right after Microsoft announces the Windows Phone 8.1 platform.
