Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone on the network of wireless carrier AT&T should know that a new color flavor of this device is now available, namely Green.

The Matte Green Nokia Lumia 1520 arrives on shelves with the Lumia Cyan firmware loaded on top, which means that it will provide users with the features and enhancements included in Windows Phone 8.1 right from the start.

At the moment, the handset can be seen listed on AT&T’s website with a price tag of $199.99 (€149) attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement. Those who would like to purchase the phone without a contract will have to get $584.99 (€436) out of their pockets for it.

The Green flavor of Nokia Lumia 1520 arrives on the market with the same hardware specs as the original color variants, namely Black, Red, Yellow, and White.

This means that it will provide users with the same full HD viewing experience on its 6-inch touchscreen display, as well as with appealing performance capabilities courtesy of a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU.

The handset should be able to provide users with appealing performance capabilities, especially since it also paired the aforementioned CPU with 2GB of RAM.

Moreover, it arrives on shelves with 16GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the Nokia Lumia 1520 features a 20-megapixel camera with ZEISS optics, dual LED flash, and Optical Image Stabilization, which is capable of recording videos in full HD resolution.

Additionally, the mobile phone has been released with a 1.2MP front camera, which should offer a pretty decent experience when it comes to making video calls while on the go.

Connectivity-wise, the high-end smartphone includes support for AT&T’s 4G LTE network, as well as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC capabilities. Moreover, it features a built-in GPS receiver, as well as the usual set of sensors.

The large Lumia 1520 is powered by a 3400mAh battery, which should be able to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time, or up to 32 days of standby time.

The main selling point of the new Green Nokia Lumia 1520 remains the Windows Phone 8.1 platform, which has been pre-loaded on it. AT&T customers who already bought a Lumia 1520 smartphone are also receiving the update, but some of them will have to wait a bit longer for it to arrive.
