Users in the UK interested in the purchase of Lumia 1520, the latest flagship smartphone from Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia, can now head over to  Carphone Warehouse for that.

The smartphone is currently listed on the retailer’s website with support for Vodafone’s network, but users can reserve it for free with monthly plans starting at £38 ($61/€45.5) per month.

Other plans are also available, including some with a higher data allowance, but they will also cost more.

However, as WMPoweruser notes, the Lumia 1520 is still priced lower than Apple’s iPhone 5S, which starts at £47 ($75.6/€56) per month.

Made official late last month, the Nokia Lumia 1520 arrives on the market with a 6-inch full HD touchscreen display, being the largest Windows Phone 8 smartphone to date.

Furthermore, the handset is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, which also makes it one of the most powerful devices out there.

The specifications list of the new mobile phone also includes 16GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot, which allows users to add up to 64GB of external storage to the package.

At the same time, the Nokia Lumia 1520 lands on the market with a 20-megapixel camera on the back, with Optical Image Stabilization and support for full HD video recording. A front camera is also available on the phone.

The handset is powered by a 3400mAh battery that should provide users with up to 22 hours of talk time. It lands on the market with LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS receiver, NFC, and the usual set of sensors.

We should also note that Lumia 1520 runs under the latest version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system, and that it sports pre-loaded apps such as Microsoft Office, Nokia Camera, HERE Maps, and the like.
