Good news for Nokia Lumia 1320 owners in India, as Microsoft may have just pulled the plug on the Windows Phone 8.1 update for this particular smartphone.

Although Nokia’s support site shows Lumia Cyan update for Nokia Lumia 1320 is still “under testing,” NokiaWPBlog reports some users successfully captured the update in India.

It’s unclear whether or not Microsoft really kicked off the rollout of the Lumia Cyan update for Lumia 1320 in India, or this is just part of a test where a handful of users get the update for testing reasons.

Keep in mind that in order to be able to upgrade to Windows Phone 8.1, you will need 1.5GB free phone memory to ensure that the software update goes smoothly.

Nokia Lumia 1320 owners in India can manually check for the Lumia Cyan update by going to Settings / Phone Update. Before starting the upgrade process make sure your smartphone’s battery is at least 50% charged.

We also recommend users to download the update using a Wi-Fi network to avoid mobile data transmission cost. Lumia Cyan update should take around 15-30 minutes to install, depending on how much data you have stored on the phone.

If you live in India, please let us know in the comments section below whether or not you have successfully captured the Lumia Cyan update for your Nokia Lumia 1320.
