Starting today, Nokia Lumia 1320, the second 6-inch Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Nokia, is available for purchase in China.

The device is set to arrive in other markets in Asia in the coming weeks, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and it should reach more of them soon after.

Lumia 1320 was made official back in October alongside Nokia Lumia 1520, with a 6-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

Nokia packed the handset with a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, as well as with 1GB of RAM, which should make it quite a powerful device, despite the fact that it is only a mid-range smartphone.

“The multi-coloured, multi-faceted Nokia Lumia 1320 comes with many of the innovative, high-end features found on the Nokia Lumia 1520, such as a six-inch Gorilla Glass screen, super sensitive touch for glove use and a wealth of pre-loaded apps,” a post on Nokia Conversations reads.

Among these applications, we can count Nokia Beamer, HERE Maps, and HERE LiveSight, all three of them said to prove great options for the large touchscreen of this handset.

At the same time, the phone arrives on shelves with a series of apps that should provide users with a great imaging experience while on the go, including Creative Studio, with features such as Colour Pop, Focus+Blur, and Collage.

“Powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Nokia MixRadio, the intelligent radio station that creates personalised playlists based on your choices, looks and sounds great on your Lumia 1320,” Nokia Conversations continues.

“You can download other great apps too like Vine, Papyrus, My Talking Tom and the array of great Xbox game titles from the Store. Thanks to the LTE connectivity, gaming is smooth, fast and enjoyable.”

The smartphone also features 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, and a front camera for video calling. A 3400mAh battery inside it can deliver up to 21 hours of talk time on 3G networks.

The handset comes to the market with the usual set of connectivity options packed inside, as well as with the entire set of common sensors. Nokia Lumia 1320 features a price tag of around $339 (€247).
