14 DAY TRIAL // Nokia officially introduced the Lumia 525 and 1320 in India earlier this month, but only the former was put on sale last week. However, the Finnish company let it slip its cheaper phablet, the Lumia 1320 will also hit shelves on January 13.
Well, it looks like the information was accurate, as Nokia Lumia 1320 can now be purchased via Nokia Store for no less than Rs 24,081 outright, which is about $390 or €285.
Keep in mind though that for the time being the yellow version of the Lumia 1320 is not available for purchase. Still, customers will be able to choose from three color options: Black, White and Orange.
According to Nokia India, all Lumia 1320 orders will be delivered in 5 working days, so keep that in mind before purchasing one.
Aside from the usual stuff in the sales package, the phablet also comes with 1 year manufacturer warranty, which seems a bit shorter than what we would have expected.
Anyway, the smartphone will ship with Windows Phone 8 platform onboard and lots of Nokia apps and services, including HERE Maps.
The phone boasts a huge 6.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
On the back, the Lumia 1320 packs a 5-megapixel photo snapper that feature autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary VGA camera for video calls.
While not the most powerful Windows Phone handset available on the market, the Lumia 1320 comes equipped with a more than decent 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.
In addition, the phablet features only 8GB of internal memory, but thanks to the included microSD card slot users will be able to further expand storage up to 64GB.
Other highlights of the Nokia Lumia 1320 include: HSPA+ (42Mbps), Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support, FM Radio and 3400 mAh non-removable battery.
