The smartphone will become available for purchase on January 13

Today, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has officially announced the upcoming availability of the Nokia Lumia 1320 smartphone in India.

The handset will arrive on the market with a price tag of Rs. 23,999 ($385/€283) attached to it, and will be put up for sale starting with January 13, the handset vendor has confirmed, fonearena notes.

Furthermore, Nokia announced that the mobile phone would be launched in a variety of color options, the same as in other markets around the world.

Nokia Lumia 1320 was made official back in October as the cheaper version of the Lumia 1520 smartphone, but with a similar size.

The handset sports a 6-inch LCD IPS Super sensitive touchscreen display that can deliver a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, and that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Furthermore, it is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400processor, paired with 1GB of RAM. Nokia Lumia 1320 also features 8GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the new mobile phone sports a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution. A VGA front camera is also available, enabling users to make video calls while on the go.

The new device will arrive in India with 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+ connectivity packed inside, as well as with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 + LE capabilities, and with built-in GPS receiver, with aGPS.

The specs list of the new handset also includes NFC connectivity, HD Voice, HAAC mic, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and a 3400 mAh battery. The phone measures 164.25 x 85.9 x 9.79 mm and weighs 220 grams.

Nokia Lumia 1320 runs under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system and comes pre-loaded with a variety of exclusive applications from its manufacturer.
