Australian wireless carrier Telstra has officially confirmed the upcoming availability of the Nokia Lumia 1320 smartphone on its network staring with February 4.

The handset should prove a great option for Windows Phone fans at the operator, especially for those who like browsing the web and enjoying content on their devices, courtesy of the phone’s large 6-inch touchscreen display.

Moreover, Nokia Lumia 1320 can keep users close to their work, thanks to Microsoft’s Office application, not to mention that it will provide them with fast data transfer rates, via included 4G LTE connectivity capabilities.

“This phone is perfect for those who need to work on the move. The built-in Microsoft Office allows users to open, edit and save documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint without losing the original formatting,” Telstra notes in a blog post.

“The Windows 8 OS syncs seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook making reading and replying to emails, setting up meetings and managing task lists a breeze.”

The handset will also enable users to download and install a great deal of applications, including some that will keep them connected to the most popular social networking services out there, such as Instagram, Vine, Facebook, and Twitter.

Nokia Lumia 1320 sports a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a front camera for video calling, while being powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone also features 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, and GPS receiver with A-GPS support. It is powered by a Li-Ion 3400 mAh battery.
