We reported about a week ago on the imminent launch of Nokia Lumia 1320 and Lumia 1520 in Brazil and now it appears that both phablets have been officially introduced in the country.

The bad news is that Windows Phone fans will have to wait until next month in order to purchase any of the two smartphones. According to WPCentral, Nokia Lumia 1320 and Lumia 1520 will go on sale in Brazil beginning next month.

Customers who wish to grab the cheaper of the two phablets, the Lumia 1320, will have to come up with $585 (€425) upfront. The Lumia 1520 has been priced much higher at no less than $1,000 (€730) outright.

“The large screen smartphones that bring the Brazilian market represent Lumia portfolio expansion in the country and offer convenience for those who expect the best experience in photo, video, gaming and productivity,” said Fernanda Camargo, product manager at Nokia Brazil.

The major price difference between the two Windows Phone phablets mostly lies in the hardware configuration packed inside.

The Lumia 1520 is equipped with a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snpadragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM, while the Lumia 1320 features a 1.7Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU with 1GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the former boasts an impressive 20-megapixel PureView main camera with autofocus, Carl Zeiss lens, dual-LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, whereas the latter sports only a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD video recording.

However, they both come with high-capacity 3400 mAh batteries and 6-inch capacitive touchscreen displays. Keep in mind though that Lumia 1520 sports full HD (1080p) display, while the Lumia 1320 packs a HD (720) screen.

It's unclear whether or not the Lumia 1520 and 1320 will ship with Lumia Black update onboard. If not, it will surely be made available soon after release.
