The smartphone has yet to be officially launched in the country

Nokia’s Lumia 1020 smartphone, the first Windows Phone 8 device in the company’s lineup to pack a 41-megapixel photo snapper, is now available for purchase in Germany, SIM-free and unlocked.

As WMPoweruser notes, the smartphone hasn’t been officially announced for markets outside of the United States, but it seems that retailers in Germany have already picked it up and added it to their offerings.

At the moment, the smartphone can be seen listed on this page at notebooksbilliger.de, with a price tag of €689 ($910) attached to it, as well as here at redcoon.de, priced the same.

The smartphone can also be purchased through Amazon.de, which has it listed with a price tag starting at €686 ($905) for the White version and going up to €719,99 ($950) for the Black variant.
