The handset should be launched in all Nordic countries in October

Lumia 1020, the 41-megapixel Windows Phone 8 device from Nokia, is set to become available for purchase in a multitude of new markets soon, and confirmation on the matter has already emerged.

Apparently, Nokia is set to launch the smartphone in Denmark and Norway on October 10, and has already announced plans to do so on its local Facebook pages.

Lumia 1020 is set to become available in Denmark via Onfone, Telmore, Elgiganten, and Proshop, while expected to be released through Telenor and Elkjøp in Norway, WPCentral notes.

The smartphone was put up for pre-order in Finland today, and should arrive in Sweden as well next month.

Furthermore, the handset is expected in Malaysia soon, as it has already become available for pre-order in the country. More info can be found on Nokia Malaysia’s Facebook page.
