The smartphone is available through the official Nokia Shop

Nokia Lumia 1020, the 41-megapixel Windows Phone 8 smartphone that went official a few months ago, is now available for purchase in India with a price tag of Rs. 48,166 ($786 / €582) attached to it.

The mobile phone can be seen listed in the official Nokia Shop in the country, where it has been up for pre-order for several weeks now.

Interestingly enough, the official sales price of the device is lower than the pre-order one, which was of Rs. 49,999 ($816 / €603), as fonearena notes.

Nokia Lumia 1020 arrives on the market with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an HD resolution, as well as with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside.

Furthermore, the mobile phone features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, and also comes with the usual set of connectivity capabilities.
