Nokia’s augmented reality browser Live View has just been released for the company’s N9 smartphone, which is powered by the MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan operating system.

The application was previously available only for the company’s Symbian smartphones, but Nokia decided to push it to more users.

“Following on the success of the Live View app for Symbian, we have developed another Qt version specifically for the Nokia N9,” Nokia notes in a post over at Nokia Beta Labs.

The new mobile software is available for download from Softpedia as well, via this link. The Symbian app is available there as well, compatible with devices running under Symbian^3, Symbian Anna and Symbian Belle.

Those Nokia N9 owners who will give it a try should consider offering feedback on the experience they receive, so that any issues with the application will be resolved as soon as possible.
