Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is getting ready for the launch of its first Windows Phone 8 devices, and it is already hinting at the fact that the release date is near.

The company has put both of the newly unveiled Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 on coming soon pages on its websites for the United States and India, though no further details on their availability has been provided.

With Nokia usually making this move about one month before the handsets actually reach shelves, it should not come too much as a surprise if both smartphones were released before the end of October, Nokia Innovation notes.

Previous rumors on the matter suggested that Lumia 920 might land on AT&T’s network as soon as October 21st, and chances are that it would pan out in the end.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Lumia 920 is the next Windows Phone flagship device from the Finnish vendor.

The handset was unveiled with a large 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ screen (1280x768), as well as with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked in at 1.5GHz.

The smartphone also packs an 8-megapixel PureView camera on the back, with full HD video recording and image stabilization capabilities, complemented by a front camera for making video calls.

Nokia also packed 32GB of internal memory inside Lumia 920, along with 1GB of RAM, NFC, WLAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Hotspot, LTE connectivity, GPS receiver, and the like.

As for Lumia 820, it also packs a Snapdragon S4 processor, but features a smaller, 4.3-inch touchscreen display. The phone sports 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for adding extra storage to it.

The smartphone features an 8-megapixel camera on the back, front camera for making video calls, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors.
